Good Day Everyone!

You may have noticed the Advanced Cladding Blog has been a little quieter these last couple of months.  As you can imagine it has been a busy time, especially with the run up to the Roofex show in Birmingham.

We are delighted to inform you that Roofex ran smoothly and proved to be a success.  It was a great opportunity to see some new (and old) faces so thank you to everyone who popped onto our stand.

You may be aware that we also held a champagne raffle open to anyone who left a business card on the stand.  Congratulations to our winners: Day 1 Ali Price from KT Price Construction Ltd, and Day 2 Sophie from Crescent Roofing both of whom will be having their bottle of bubbly personally delivered by their Area Rep this week…

And in other news following the success of our first ever Liquid Rubber Open Day (thank you to all those who attended!) we are holding a second event for those who couldn’t make it.  This will take place on Wednesday 19th June, with several different time slots which will be announced at a later date.  However, if you do wish to attend then please register your interest now as places are limited and will get booked up!  To register please contact us either by calling 0161 231 0001 or emailing Gemma: gemmaallies@advancedcladding.com.

We are also pleased to announce the launch of our Advanced Cladding & Single Ply Systems Youtube channel.  Although it is still in early stages of development we are already showcasing videos from our previous liquid rubber open day and an introductory liquid rubber video which will provide you with useful information about the system.

A project we supplied in East Sussex has recently been completed by BL Trading.

Eric managed to provide the client with 4145sqm of KS1000RW in Goosewing Grey.  He also supplied Rooflights to match the profile.

We also provided 800m2 of JI100 Microrib Panel on behalf of the wall contractor CRB Contracting in a Prisma finish.

The result?  A very happy customer and a very happy client.

With January over we are all breathing a sigh of relief as the days get lighter and the weather (hopefully) warmer.  We thought we would treat you to an overdue update from Advanced Cladding HQ.

We are looking forward to attending the first Manchester Construction Pool Event of 2013 which will take place on Wednesday 20th February from 6pm-8pm.  It is a great opportunity to meet others working in the construction industry within an informal environment.  Space is limited but if you are interested in attending follow the link http://www.constructionpool.org/event.php?id=64.  The event will be held at Atlas Bar, 376 Deansgate, Manchester, M3 4LY.  It would be good to see some familiar faces and have a drink together.

We have also scheduled our first Liquid Rubber Open Day which will be a great opportunity to see a live demonstration of how the product is applied and there will be the chance to participate.  The event will be held Wednesday 17th April and space is limited so book early to avoid disappointment!  Official Invitations with the full details will be sent out this month so keep your eyes peeled…

Hello and a very Happy New Year to everyone, we hope you all enjoyed the festive period and have settled back in well by now.  We reopened on Thursday 3rd January, and got back into the swing of things rather quickly – it is like we had never been away!

And with the turn of 2013 comes plenty of exciting new opportunities.  Firstly I am delighted to announce that our very own Sales Administrator Lee Hall is beginning his career as Northern Sales Representative for Advanced Cladding, initially being out of the office for one day a week.  For anyone wishing to arrange a face to face meeting or should you require any technical assistance then Lee can be contacted on 07725 601347.  A big congratulations comes from all the Advanced Cladding team to Lee and best of luck in the new role.

In addition to this Advanced Cladding are proud to announce our attendence at this years Roofex Exhibition at the NEC Birmingham.  The show takes place from 1st-2nd May 2013 and is free to attend.  We look forward to seeing many familiar (and some new) faces there.  We hope the exhibition will be an opportunity to gain further national coverage for Enviroplan-TPO, our Single Ply Membrane.

With December rapidly disappearing I am pleased to announce our Christmas shutdown dates.

The office will be closing on Friday 21st December at 4pm (last collections at midday please), we will then be reopening on Thursday 3rd January at 8am, business as usual.

With that in mind please ensure you place your orders carefully to avoid any difficulties that may arise.

I know the score November Winner

The start of December for most of us signifies the beginning of Advent and indeed the festive period.  Not ones to miss out we are all excitedly working through our advent calendars after Santa (or Dominic to the cynics) surprised us on Friday.

On a different note, we are all keeping busy in the run up to Christmas. Tonight Nick, Barry and myself will be showing our faces at a local networking event called Construction Pool. This is often a great opportunity to meet people within the Construction industry, exchange cards and have a natter! There is always a very informal atmosphere at these events making it enjoyable for everyone.
